Working with Christina Smith Travel not only saves you countless hours of time and frustration in planning and booking a trip, but it also gets you access to properties, destinations, and unique experiences that aren’t always available online. You’ll get insider knowledge and have access to preferred upgrades, perks and amenities such as complimentary daily breakfast, resort credit and early check-in/late check-out when available.

What types of trips do you book?

I book all types of luxury travel including family vacations, multi-generational trips, honeymoons, babymoons, weekend getaways, business travel, girls' getaways, special occasion trips (birthday, anniversary, retirement, etc.) and bucket list adventures (safaris, luxury cruises, etc.). 

Are there fees associated with working with Christina Smith Travel?

Christina Smith Travel is a fee-based travel agency. Just as you pay a trusted accountant to do your taxes every year, clients pay Christina Smith Travel a fee for her time and knowledge in planning your travel. This fee starts at $350 and varies with number of travelers, complexity and dates. And exact quote will be provided after consultation.

I know my dates and preferred hotel. Is there a benefit to booking this through Christina Smith Travel?

Yes! If you already know all the details, I will happily book the rooms for you and pass on all of my benefits, such as upgrades (when available) and amenities. There is a $50 fee for this service.

Can you help with booking flights?

Brownell’s Air Desk provides this service for clients of Christina Smith Travel. Not only will they book the best flights for your needs, they can also secure great seats, help with lost baggage and proactively reschedule cancellations or delays. This prevents you from having to wait for hours on 800#s or standing in line at customer service desks. This service costs $75/ticket domestically (capped at $300/family) for domestic, Mexico, Canada and Caribbean tickets, and $150/ticket international (capped at $600/family) for international tickets.

Do you have access to private villas or homes?

Yes! While I am not able to book homes through sites like VRBO or Airbnb, I do have access to private homes and villas around the globe. These are generally homes not found on the internet, and are a perfect solution if you are looking for privacy or have a large group wanting to stay together in luxurious accommodations.

Do you have minimum trip budget requirements?

Christina Smith Travel doesn’t have a minimum spend per se. However, I generally work with higher-end hotels and suppliers that charge $400 - $1500+/night before taxes and hotel/villa fees. An overall trip budget is influenced greatly by destination and local currency, and we are able to navigate these nuances to design a trip that works for you. If you are seeking a more budget conscious trip spending less than around $400/night, I am not able to provide you much value.

Is it possible to travel internationally right now with Covid?

Yes! Most countries have re-opened their borders to travelers, though there are some complexities involved. I will work with you to navigate these complexities and keep the process as streamlined as possible.

Do you offer trip protection?

Yes, and we highly recommend it. It helps to protect your investment in the case that something goes awry before or during your trip. We offer various protections plans and will work with you to choose the best one for your situation.
